Getting to Portland College

By Car: (about 15 minutes from M1 and 14 miles from Nottingham)

From M1 (J27): Follow the signs Mansfield A608. In 0.3 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd left. At 0.7 miles at the next roundabout, take the second exit. Keep to the left and join the A611. Continue straight through Annesley (Badger Box Public House). At junction with A60, turn right onto A60 towards Nottingham. Portland College entrance is 1 mile on the left hand side.

From M1 (J28): Take the A38 to Mansfield. At the junction with the A617 turn right (SP Nottingham) . At junction with A60 turn right onto A60 (Nottingham Road). Portland College entrance is 1 mile on left.

From Nottingham: Follow signs to Mansfield A60. Junction with A614. At roundabout take first exit to Mansfield. Continue west past Newstead Abbey Gates (left). Junction with B6020. Continue straight on through traffic lights. Portland College entrance is 0.5 miles on the right hand side.

By Rail: The Mansfield train station of the Robin Hood line connects with the national rail service at Nottingham. From the train station, public transport to Portland College can be obtained from the nearby bus station or by taxi service.
